Principal
Steve Roth is principal and founder of OutThink Partners, a leading communications and marketing agency specializing in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) market.
Roth has more than 15 years experience in public relations, marketing, corporate communications, media relations, issues management, experiential marketing, event production and LGBT consumer marketing. He has served as senior counselor and strategist to a variety of clients seeking to build their presence in the LGBT market, including: General Motors, LAN Airlines, Madrid Tourism, Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts, and Atlantis Events, the world's largest company specializing in gay and lesbian vacations.
Roth has developed, managed and contributed to major marketing and communications campaigns for a range of other significant global corporations and brands, including United Airlines, Star Alliance, and Clarion Corporation. Prior to that, as an account supervisor at Fleishman-Hillard, he managed programs and initiatives for accounts and brands as diverse as United Airlines, Mitsubishi Motors, and Sony PlayStation.
Roth is an active member of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association. He has also managed media relations activities in Southern California for Servicemembers Legal Defense Network, the nation's only nonprofit organization dedicated to lifting the ban on gays in the military.
Roth holds a Bachelor's Degree in Latin American Studies from the University of Chicago and speaks Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese. A passionate traveler, he has lived in Mexico, Spain and Japan, in addition to all four mainland U.S. time zones. But he's been happy to call Los Angeles home for the last 13 years.
