Dane Whitlock has worked in the fashion and beauty industry for over ten years in the consumer goods public relations arena – both in the luxury and mass market. He has utilized his expertise to successfully develop strategic media and brand building campaigns to launch and revitalize some of America’s most well known household brands. He has an impressive track record with innumerable placements for his clients on Extra, Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, Queer Eye for a Straight Guy, Project Runway, The Today Show as well as New York and LA Times, Vogue, Allure, Elle, Vanity Fair, Men’s Health, Details, GQ, Esquire, Advocate and Out, to name a few.

As a Senior Account Director for Creative Media Marketing, a boutique beauty public relations firm with offices in New York and Los Angeles, he implemented unique and innovative programs and strategic campaigns for a wide variety of skincare, hair care and color cosmetic brands including Kinerase with celebrity spokesperson Courtney Cox Arquette.

Dane also served as Senior Global Communications Manager for Vera Wang, Inc where he worked closely with the designer to launch her Spring and Fall runway collections at Bryant Park during New York Fashion Week. He also oversaw the global press outreach for Vera Wang luxury goods including fragrance, table top, lingerie, stationery, eyewear, footwear and fine jewelry.

Dane served as in-house PR counsel for Unilever Cosmetics International and Coty Prestige overseeing the global press launches of a number of prestige fragrances.

Dane resides in Los Angeles with his partner Joey and their pooch, Clementine.
